Purpose of Consultations

Consultations are designed to offer general parenting guidance, emotional support, practical strategies, and educational discussion based on personal experience and parenting principles.

Consultations are not therapy, counselling, medical treatment, legal advice, or crisis support.

Booking and Payment

All consultation sessions must be booked in advance.

Where payment is required, full payment must usually be made before the session takes place unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice where possible.

Missed appointments or cancellations made with very short notice may not be refundable.

We understand that emergencies can happen and will always aim to act fairly and reasonably.

Confidentiality

Personal information shared during consultations will be treated respectfully and confidentially unless there is a safeguarding concern or a legal obligation to share information.

Respectful Communication

We ask all clients to communicate respectfully during consultations and in written communication.

Joyful Parenting UK reserves the right to end consultations or refuse services in cases of abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour.

Results and Outcomes

Every child, parent, and family situation is different. While we aim to provide helpful support and guidance, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results.

Safeguarding

If there are concerns regarding the safety or wellbeing of a child or vulnerable person, appropriate safeguarding action may be taken where necessary.
